At Dubai Archers we are proud to
say that we hold several events that are unique. Getting ready to hold a
competition is a complex effort that requires many parties to participate and
the most important one to find sponsors kind enough to support these
competitions. Dubai
Archers Open (January): 2006 have seen the first ever
event truly setup by Dubai Archers , with a venue on the Rugby field at the Dubai Country Club and sponsored
by National Oilwell Varco and Eagle Logistics. With around 70 people attending and 57 archers , on
the following categories : Novices child , Novices Adults , Recurve ,
Compound , Field . An all round competition with BBQ and a complete day out
outdoors fully dedicated to Archery. Competition Format : Open .
10m for Novices , 20 for novices adults , 30 for recurved and 50 for
compound.Full course for field. Hatta Fort
Hotel Competition (March): Hatta competition is the
oldest and only one in the UAE since many years ago , in a complete
paradise the Hatta Fort Hotel in Hatta Dubai , this is without a doubt a venue not
to be missed. The entrance included on previous events a buffet meal , entry
to the Hotel facilities including the swimming pool. Sponsored in 2005 by
several brands. Competition Format : Open .
30m for all, Recurved and Compound. Great
British Day (November): This is not really a
competition but a fund raising day for the needed. We do participate every
year with our stand. Last update – 17/11/08 @Dubai
Archers.
